It's been nearly three months since Wes Welker's surprising departure from New England, and the dust is still settling as Welker becomes comfortable with his new surroundings in Denver.
But just how comfortable is Welker outside the often tightly-controlled atmosphere around the Patriots?
"I feel like I can be myself a little more for sure (in Denver)," Welker told Yahoo! Sports' Michael Silver recently. "All (the Broncos) told me was, 'Just be yourself."
Welker, known as a prankster within the Patriots locker room, was benched for the opening series of a playoff game three seasons ago after making public comments about New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan.
"You know what? I think I've lived and learned," Welker told Silver. "And I hopefully would never put a coach in a position like that (again)."
