FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Patriots signed defensive lineman Travis Chappelear and wide receiver Johnathan Haggerty on Thursday, in addition to the previous reported signings of defensive lineman Scott Vallone and wide receiver Lavasier Tuinei, the team announced. Also, the team waived defensive back Stephon Morris.
Chappelear was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Bengals this April after a career at Northwest Missouri State. The 6-foot-5, 263-pounder was released by the team on May 13.
Haggerty, 25, went undrafted out of Southwest Oklahoma State in 2010. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound wide receiver has previous NFL stops with both the Browns and the Bears.
Morris was signed as an undrafted free agent following the 2013 draft out of Penn State. He appeared to suffer a hamstring injury during Tuesday's practice, but finished the session on the field.
The Patriots roster is once again full at 90 players.
