Patriots-Buccaneers connections

The Patriots and Buccaneers will begin joint practices today (11 a.m.), and though the teams haven't played a regular-season game against each other since a 2009 contest that was held in London, there's no shortage of familiarity between the two clubs.

Below is a list of both the players who have experience working with both organizations.

Current Patriots players (years with Tampa Bay)

Cornerback Kyle Arrington: 2008 - 2009

Running back LeGarrette Blount: 2010 - 2012

The two clubs also share strong ties to Rutgers, where Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano was prior to taking over his current post with the team (he coached Patriots assistant coach Steve Belichick during the 2011 college season).
