The Revolution announced Monday that it acquired French forward Saër Sène on a free transfer from Germany’s Bayern Munich. Sène has been a member of the team’s reserve squad since 2009. He will formally be added to the team’s roster upon receipt of his U.S. P-1 Visa and his International Transfer Certificate.
“We had the chance to have Saër in camp with us in Arizona and see him interact with our players both on and off the field,” General Manager Michael Burns said. “We believe he’ll play a valuable role for us this season. He’s scored goals consistently with each of his previous clubs, and we believe he has the ability to continue to do so in MLS.”
