MIAMI -- Rapper Lil Wayne found the Boston Red Sox's clubhouse more friendly than the Oklahoma City Thunder's home arena.
Wayne, who was upset at the Thunder after he claimed he was denied access to their May 31 game against the San Antonio Spurs, surfaced in the Sox clubhouse Wednesday after Boston's 10-2 win over the Miami Marlins.
Wayne, who bought a courtside seat for Tuesday's Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Thunder and Miami Heat, apparently flew back to his home in Miami and attended the Marlins-Red Sox game.
After Wednesday's game ended, Wayne was seen in the visitors clubhouse at Marlins Park, shaking hands with several players. He signed a few baseballs and took photos with players, including Red Sox legend Luis Tiant.
A Red Sox spokesperson said the team did not know Wayne would show up.
