Bard yields two-run homer for PawSox

Daniel Bard's struggles in Triple-A continued Monday night as he allowed two hits, including a two-run home run, a walk and a wild pitch while pitching the seventh inning of Pawtucket's 8-5 win over Syracuse.

Bard entered with a 6-0 lead, but walked the leadoff batter in the seventh, then gave up a line drive homer to left by Brett Carroll.

Koyie Hill followed with a single and went to second on a wild pitch, but Bard settled down with a strikeout and two grounders to first to escape further damage.
