Bradley to start in RF vs. Yankees today

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Good morning from the Fort, where a team wearing pinstripes but otherwise bearing little resemblance to the New York Yankees will be playing the Sox this afternoon. Robinson Cano and Mark Teixeira are WBC-bound, Curtis Granderson, A-Rod and Derek Jeter are hurt, Kevin Youkilis is taking a pass, so the Sox will be seeing plenty of Bronx scrubs.

Here is the Sox lineup, notable for the fact that Jackie Bradley Jr. draws the start in right field, with Shane Victorino off to Arizona and the WBC.

Jacoby Ellsbury, CF

Dustin Pedroia, 2B

Stephen Drew, SS

Mike Napoli, 1B

Daniel Nava, LF

Will Middlebrooks, 3B

Jarrod Saltalamacchia, DH

David Ross, C

Jackie Bradley Jr., RF

Ryan Dempster, RHP

Also scheduled to pitch: Junichi Tazawa, Joel Hanrahan, Andrew Miller, Andrew Bailey, and Koji Uehara.

Victorino, by the way, leaves the Sox yet to record a hit in a Boston uniform. He was 0-for-11, striking out three times and grounding into four double plays. He did draw four walks, and chances are that he will collect a hit or two in his Sox tenure.

Among the Yankees making the trip: Brett Gardner, Eduardo Nix, Juan Rivera, and Austin Romine. You'd have to be a real fan to recognize any of the other names.
