Drew hitless in first rehab game

Portland lost its season opener to the Trenton Thunder, 13-5.

Daniel Bard pitched one inning for the Sea Dogs, walking the first batter he faced and giving up a two-run home run to Neil Medchill two batters later.

Left-hander Drake Britton started for Portland and lasted just three innings, yielding seven runs (three earned) on five hits, three of them home runs. He walked two and struck out five.
