Drew talks offensive resurgence

Red Sox shortstop Stephen Drew talked to ESPN's Tim Kurkjian after Boston's 9-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. Drew said "it's huge" the Sox were able to break a scoring slump with an eight-run third inning, capped by his grand slam.

"Just put a good swing on it, kept my head in, kept my hands through the ball, and it's one of those nights where it works out," Drew said of his big home run.

Drew added that "it's great" playing behind Jon Lester, who improved to 6-0 with Wednesday's win.
