Edes gives a lot of credit to John Lackey, who has regained the dominant form not seen since his time with the Angels. Edes also notes that Ryan Dempster has been consistent in giving the Sox the chance to win games, while Alfredo Aceves has picked up three wins in his last three spot starts.
