Sox to sell potential World Series tickets

The Red Sox announced in a team release Thursday that they will make available a limited quantity of tickets for potential World Series games at Fenway Park. There is a limit of a total of four tickets per fan.

Starting Friday at 2 p.m. ET, fans can call 888-RED-SOX6 to buy tickets to possible Games 1, 2, 6 and 7 while supplies last. The pricing for seats ranges from $125 for standing room only up to $375 for field and loge boxes. Bleacher seats are $155, grandstand seats are $250, and right field and pavilion box seats are $310. Tickets will be sold by automated hotline and won't be available at Fenway's box office. Accessible seating for fans with disabilities will be available by calling 877-RED-SOX9. Fans who registered online for the chance to purchase World Series tickets and were selected at random will get email notification from the team Thursday of their opportunity. These fans can buy tickets starting at noon Friday on redsox.com.
