Lineup changes on both sides for Game 2

BOSTON – After managing just one hit against the Detroit Tigers, the Boston Red Sox made a few lineup changes for tonight’s Game 2.

Out are Mike Napoli, David Ross and Daniel Nava, and in are Mike Carp, Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Jonny Gomes.

Here are the full lineups:

3. Dustin Pedroia, 2B

4. David Ortiz, DH

5. Mike Carp, 1B

6. Jonny Gomes, LF

7. Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C

SP -- Clay Buchholz, RHP

The Tigers made a couple of changes of their own, taking Jhonny Peralta out of left field and putting him at his natural position at shortstop. Jose Iglesias is out of the lineup. Taking Peralta’s spot left field will be Don Kelly.
