A quick update on the Bruins health heading into tonight’s game against the Lightning. According to media reports, all seven Bruins that missed Tuesday’s practice with flu-like symptoms were back on the ice for practice Wednesday and are expected to play tonight.
“Let’s knock on wood here that nothing else happens,” coach Claude Julien told The Boston Globe. “But the guys that were missing from practice yesterday are all feeling much better.”
This will be the first matchup of the season for the Bruins and Lightning, with their schedule game on Feb. 9 postponed due to the blizzard that hit Boston.
Former Bruin Benoit Pouliot is enjoying early success in Tampa. He has 13 points (5 goals and 8 assists) in 15 games. Pouliot had 32 points last season for the Bruins, his only year in Boston.
