BOSTON -- The Boston Bruins have signed forward Anthony Camara to an entry-level contract, the team announced Thursday.
The Bruins selected the 6-foot, 190-pounder in the third round (81st overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. In 48 games this season with the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League, Camara has 36 goals and 24 assists for 60 points, including a plus-17 rating.
In 243 games in the OHL, he’s registered 66 goals and 56 assists for 122 points and 443 penalty minutes. He also played for Team Canada in the 2013 World Junior Championship in Russia, posting two assists in six games.
Camara will play in Barrie for the rest of the season.
