B's prep for Penguins

WILMINGTON, Mass. -- The Boston Bruins are holding their first practice since closing out the New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference semifinal series Saturday at TD Garden.

The Bruins now prepare for the conference finals against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and we’re still waiting to get official word on when the best-of-seven series will begin.

On the ice at Ristuccia Arena today, everything is the same as it was for Boston’s 3-1 win over the Rangers in Game 5. Bruins defenseman Andrew Ference, who missed the entire second round with a lower-body injury, is at practice with the team and is working on the fifth defensive pairing with Aaron Johnson.

Check back later for post-practice updates.
