LOS ANGELES –- The Boston Bruins have their man.
With Tyler Seguin wearing a Black and Gold sweater after being selected with the No. 2 overall pick Friday night at the Staples Center, what does Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli do now?
“We have a cluster of players that still exist that’ll be there for us tomorrow,” he said.
Boston enters the second day of the NHL Entry Draft with seven picks: Nos. 32, 45, 97, 105, 135, 165 and 195.
After the first round was completed, Chiarelli had a quick meeting with his staff. He said he doesn’t expect many changes to their draft board on Saturday.
“I don’t anticipate many changes -- if any,” he said. “Our list was pretty tight, a good list. There’s not a lot of variance as it stands right now. I don’t think we’ll make many changes.”
