Jacobs discusses Winter Classic and more

Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs chatted with ESPN's E.J. Hradek recently, sharing his thoughts on a variety of topics including the Winter Classic, the state of the NHL, and the Olympic Games.

He said he feels the successful Winter Classic at Fenway Park helped the Bruins organization connect with its fan base, and pointed out the widespread excitement surrounding the event. "The players [were] very enthusiastic about being a part of it," he said. "And I know our management guys were a little giddy about it, too."

He was optimistic about the state of professional hockey, saying, "I think it's in better condition than it has been in some time."
