Bruins recall Caron from Providence

WILMINGTON, Mass. -- The Boston Bruins have recalled forward Jordan Caron from Providence of the AHL and he’s practicing Monday morning at Ristuccia Arena.

The 20-year-old forward began the season with the Bruins and played a total of four games until he was assigned to Providence after Saturday’s game. He played for Providence on Sunday and registered an assist in the P-Bruins’ 3-2 loss to Albany.

During the four games Caron played for the Bruins this season he was averaging just over nine minutes per game, so spending Sunday with Providence was a way to get him more playing time.
