Tyler Seguin was a last-minute scratch for the Bruins game at Winnipeg on Tuesday night for missing a team breakfast and meeting, general manager Peter Chiarelli told reporters.
“Honest mistake,” Chiarelli said. “But we have team rules. He has to abide by them.”
Chiarelli also said Seguin has done this before but he's not worried about it.
“I don’t see it as a problem,” Chiarelli said. “I see it as a young player who sometimes forgets to set his alarm.”
The 19-year-old Seguin leads the Bruins in scoring with 25 points.
