BOSTON -- Bruins forward Gregory Campbell has a fracture in his left foot and will likely be out of the lineup for at least the next two games, according to coach Claude Julien.
Campbell suffered the injury when he blocked a shot while killing a penalty in Saturday’s 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets in Columbus. He did not practice with the team on Monday and needs to wear a walking boot.
“He’s not going to play tonight,” Julien said. “Obviously, you didn’t see him out there this morning. He’s still dealing with that foot injury. There was a fracture in the foot, so not tonight and probably not tomorrow as well. After that he’ll be day to day.”
Julien also said he did not know whether Campbell would join the team on the upcoming road trip.
