Julien chatty, but not about injuries

WILMINGTON, Mass. -- It’s the playoffs, so that means all player injuries -- no matter how minor or significant -- are strictly classified.

Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid, who has been out with what is being classified as an eye injury, did not participate in practice again on Tuesday, and Bruins coach Claude Julien is mum about the situation.

Julien met with the media after Tuesday’s practice at Ristuccia Arena as the team prepares for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against the Washington Capitals on Thursday at TD Garden, and the coach discussed many topics, including the importance of forward Rich Peverley on the top line, the team’s power-play unit, the team’s identity and last year’s trip to Lake Placid, N.Y.
