PawSox manager says Sabres in five

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Pawtucket Red Sox manager Torey Lovullo played and managed in Buffalo for many years and he’s a hockey fan.

The first-year skipper of the PawSox is a member of Buffalo’s Hall of Fame and his wife, Kristen, is from the city. Despite working for the Boston Red Sox organization, Lovullo believes the Buffalo Sabres will beat the Boston Bruins in five games.

“I know there are a lot of different opinions that the Bruins could come in here and whitewash the Bruins, but I know there will be many low-scoring games,” said Lovullo. “Both teams are defensive-minded and both have great goaltending. As far as I know it’s going to be a great series, but I have to stick with the Sabres."
