Julien: Lineup decisions coming later

BOSTON -- Boston Bruins coach Claude Julien had a sense after the morning skate on Wednesday at TD Garden that his team is ready for tonight's Game 7 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against the Washington Capitals.

Julien addressed the local, national and international media after the quick twirl and discussed a few topics, including the play of Bruins forward Jordan Caron, the team’s experience in Game 7 situations and the importance of limiting mistakes.

Caron replaced veteran Shawn Thornton in the lineup for Game 6 and Julien said he would wait until after the pregame warmup to finalize the Game 7 roster.

“We talked to (Caron) before the series started because I thought, if anything, he was a really good player for us in that last stretch of the regular season,” explained Julien. “It was tough to take him out, but we went with some experienced guys first and foremost. The one thing we said to him was to stay ready because there could come a point when we need you and obviously we did last game.”
