ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills quarterback EJ Manuel will miss an additional 4-to-6 weeks with a knee injury, coach Doug Marrone said Wednesday.
"The earliest will be four [weeks]. The latest will be six weeks," Marrone said. "He's doing well and he's in rehab working hard."
That timetable, Marrone said, is for Manuel to return to practice. His status to play in a game will be determined after that.
"Am I disappointed? No. I want to make sure he's healthy when he comes back," Marrone said.
In four weeks, the Bills host the New York Jets. After that, they have their bye in Week 12 before their game in Toronto against the Falcons on Dec. 1, which would be shortly after Manuel's six-week mark.
