Robert Woods (ankle) misses practice

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Robert Woods was not spotted at the start of Wednesday's practice.

Woods left in the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs with an ankle injury. Coach Doug Marrone said X-rays on Woods were negative but said he expected to see Woods on the field Wednesday.

Meanwhile, rookie receiver Marquise Goodwin, who left in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury, was on the field for the start of practice. However, Goodwin left to work with the strength and conditioning staff as soon as his teammates broke into individual drills.

Quarterbacks EJ Manuel and Thad Lewis both practiced, as expected.
