Welcome to Heinz Field

PITTSBURGH -- Welcome to Heinz Field, where the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Buffalo Bills (CBS, 1 p.m. ET).

Weather conditions: It's a cloudy fall day in Pittsburgh. Temperatures are in the mid-40s and there is a chance of passing showers. It's breezy, with wind gusts over 20 mph. More important than weather, however, may be field conditions. The field looks to be in good shape following Notre Dame-Pittsburgh last night, but that remains something to monitor.

Woods unlikely to play: For the first time this season, the Bills haven't declared any players as "out" prior to the game. Rookie receiver Robert Woods is doubtful with an ankle injury but made the trip to Pittsburgh and could work out pregame. Linebacker Manny Lawson (personal) is questionable. No word on his status yet.

Game-day chats: Starting at 11 a.m., ESPN.com will host a "Sunday Countdown" chat, with observations from reporters across the NFL as game time approaches. Then, once Bills-Steelers kicks off at 1 p.m., we'll have an in-game chat where readers can contribute questions and follow along with in-game observations. Look for links to those later today.

Green gets the call: Official Scott Green, in his eighth season as a referee, gets the call for today’s game.
