Bills sign seven to future contracts

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills began the process of building their 90-man offseason roster Monday, signing all seven members of their practice squad to future contracts.

Quarterback Dennis Dixon, wide receiver Brandon Kaufman, offensive linemen Edawn Coughman and Jamaal Johnson-Webb, defensive lineman Ikponmwosa Igbinosun, linebacker Jacquies Smith, and cornerback Mario Butler were all re-signed.

Each player's practice squad contract was set to expire next week. Their new deals will kick in when rosters expand to 90 players next month.
