Previewing Senior Bowl week

On Saturday, players began arriving in Mobile, Ala., for the annual Senior Bowl.

We'll be arriving in Mobile on Monday, when practices kick off for the most prominent of the college all-star games. It most cases, it's the first time for NFL coaches and scouts to see draft prospects go head-to-head with top-level competition, making the entire week an important step in the scouting and evaluation process.

This year's Senior Bowl will be coached by the staffs from the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons, who hold the third and sixth spots, respectively, in May's draft. Still, the expectation is that the Buffalo Bills will be well represented at the event, as they hold the ninth pick in the first round.
