"It's crazy, it might be in a couple days," he said. "Throughout this weekend, me and my wife [are] going to sit down and we're going to talk about it and what's actually best for us and me mentally as I go through this process."
Britt said he met with Bills coach Doug Marrone and general manager Doug Whaley.
"I love it. Great people here. Great facility. Was kind of expecting a little less out of them, but to tell you the truth, [it's] a great coaching staff they have here," Britt said. "It was wonderful."
Britt is coming off his worst season since being drafted in the first round in 2009. His 11 catches for 96 receiving yards were both career lows.
"Last year, I'd rather keep last year in the past and things like that," Britt said. "It came and went, and I'm here right now, so I'm trying to get this free agency over with."
