Guard Cyril Richardson signs rookie deal

The Buffalo Bills signed guard Cyril Richardson to his rookie contract Friday.

Richardson, a fifth-round pick out of Baylor, projects as a backup guard this season for the Bills. He was named as a finalist last season for the Outland Trophy, given to college football's best lineman.

He is the fifth of seven Bills draft selections to sign his first deal. First-round pick Sammy Watkins and second-round pick Cyrus Kouandjio remain unsigned, but both should be under contract by training camp.
