Breaking down Kraig Urbik's new deal

As detailed earlier Tuesday, the Buffalo Bills and guard Kraig Urbik agreed to a pay cut that will cut his base salary nearly in half this season.

Signing bonus: $300,000 (amount of roster bonus Urbik would have received on fifth day of 2015 league year under previous deal)

2015 season:

Base salary: $1.075 million (reduced from $2.65 million)

Signing bonus proration: $850,000 (includes $700,000 from previous deal signing bonus)

Roster bonus: $150,000 (new; earned if on 53-man roster for any one game)

Workout bonus: $125,000 (increased from $100,000)

Cap number: $2.2 million (reduced from $3.75 million)

2016 season:

Base salary: $1.2 million (reduced from $2.9 million)

Signing bonus proration: $850,000 (includes $700,000 from previous deal signing bonus)

Roster bonus: $300,000 (due on fifth day of 2016 league year)

Roster bonus: $150,000 (new; earned if on 53-man roster for any one game)

Workout bonus: $125,000 (increased from $100,000)

Cap number: $2.625 million (reduced from $4 million)
