Bears' Webb, Williams start on OL

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Chicago Bears once again will try a different combination on the offensive line, as J'Marcus Webb starts at right tackle and Edwin Williams at right guard versus the Carolina Panthers.

Tim Jennings starts for the second consecutive week at left cornerback, although Zack Bowman is expected to see action in the Bears secondary.

Meantime, newly acquired defensive end Charles Grant will be inactive, so rookie Corey Wootton makes his NFL debut after failing to dress the first four weeks.

Despite a painfully slow start by free-agent acquisition Brandon Manumaleuna, veteran Desmond Clark is inactive for the second consecutive week.

Quarterback Jay Cutler, left tackle Chris Williams and safety Major Wright were all ruled out Friday.

Other inactives include: Kahlil Bell, Joshua Moore and Marcus Harrison.
