History favoring Bruins in Cup finals

Something’s Bruin: The Stanley Cup finals begin Wednesday night after both teams made quick work of their conference finals opponents. But history favors Boston. Each of the last five times that one team swept the series before the Stanley Cup finals, while the other won in five games, the team that swept went on to win the Stanley Cup. The last time it didn't happen was 1954, when the Red Wings (won semifinals 4-1) beat the Canadiens (swept Semifinals).
