Derrick Rose won't play vs. Warriors

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose will remain out Friday night against the Golden State Warriors as he continues his rehab from a torn left ACL.

"He's the same," Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau said before the game. "He keeps getting better. We just got to be patient."

Thibodeau raised some speculation regarding Rose's return at Thursday’s practice, saying the former MVP was 'unlikely' to play against Golden State, and sounding more optimistic regarding the former MVP's status.

Thibodeau has stated that he wants to see Rose get in several days of solid practice work and then re-evaluate how his body is feeling.

As usual, Rose warmed up before Friday’s game, getting his regular cardio work and jump shots in.

Kirk Hinrich (foot), Taj Gibson (knee) and Richard Hamilton (lower back) also remain out for the Bulls. Nate Robinson will start again in Hinrich's place.
