CHICAGO -- Chicago Bulls forward Carlos Boozer took part in Thursday's shootaround, and coach Tom Thibodeau said Boozer could return to the lineup against the Brooklyn Nets if Boozer feels good in the evening.
“He did fine (in the shootaround) but we’ll see,” Thibodeau said. “As long as there’s not any repercussion. (This is) the first time he did anything for a long time.”
Boozer has missed the last three games with a left calf strain. He is averaging 14.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 29.9 minutes in 45 games this season.
Thibodeau previously said Boozer would reestablish his place in the starting lineup when he’s healthy. Taj Gibson replaced Boozer as a starter and averaged 22.7 points and 10.3 points in the last three games.
