Kris Bryant not Cubs' only roster move

CHICAGO -- It only seemed like Kris Bryant was the Chicago Cubs' lone roster addition on Friday. But the Cubs made another move by activating outfielder Chris Denorfia off the 15-day disabled list.

In addition to infielder Mike Olt being placed on the DL with a hairline fracture in his right wrist (the move that opened the door for Bryant’s addition), right-hander Neil Ramirez was put on the DL (retroactive to April 16) with right shoulder inflammation.

Denorfia had opened the season on the DL because of a left hamstring strain. The 34-year old batted .230 with 12 doubles and three home runs in 121 games for both San Diego and Seattle last season.
