Cubs not first-place, but caviar first-class

Does playing in an older ballpark impact the Cubs' ability to play up to the level of the best teams in baseball?

Cubs manager Lou Piniella doesn't think so.

“The facilities?" Piniella asked. "They’ve improved the weight room, they have a decent video room. They’ve got a players' lounge now. They have a brand-new kitchen. They had caviar in there today. Imagine. I told [the equipment manager] that if we were in first place we’d have a chef from France in here. What I’m trying to tell you is, they do things pretty first-class here.”
