Tony Campana is considered one of the fastest players in baseball, and the Chicago Cubs outfielder put that speed on display in the first inning Friday when he legged out an inside-the-park home run.

Campana ripped a shot down the left field line that was misplayed by Cincinnati Reds outfielder Yonder Alonso.

Starlin Castro scored from first base, and Campana came around to become the first Cub to hit an inside-the-park home run since Geovany Soto did it on May 19, 2008.

The last Cubs player to hit one in Wrigley was Sammy Sosa on Oct. 6, 2001.
