Half of bunt contest's Sweet 16 set

MESA, Ariz. -- Half of the Sweet 16 is set in the Chicago Cubs' bunt tournament as four more players advanced out of the second round Wednesday.

Chris Rusin, Casey Coleman, Wellington Castillo and Steve Clevenger all are through to the third round. They join Adrian Cardenas, Blake Lalli, Trey McNutt and Jeff Beliveau, who advanced on Tuesday.

Since the start of camp, the Cubs have been conducting the 64-person tournament to test the bunting skills of every player. The event is the brainchild of manager Dale Sveum, who is also competing and has a second-round matchup with Ryan Dempster coming soon.
