Adolfo Pacheco, South Elgin RB: Pacheco rushed for a school-record 318 yards and four touchdowns on 27 carries in South Elgin’s 36-21 upset of Geneva.
Joel Valdiva, Grayslake Central RB: Valdiva was unstoppable against Grayslake North, rushing for 365 yards and six touchdowns on 35 carries in his team’s win.
Ian Woodworth, Marist QB: Woodworth had a memorable day in what was a memorable game. He was 33-of-51 passing for 452 yards and eight touchdowns in Marist’s 64-63 double-overtime win over Carmel.
Matt Randolph, Naperville Central RB: Randolph rushed for 253 yards and five touchdowns in his team’s 36-26 win over Naperville North.
