Ventura gives some starters a day off

After sticking with what worked throughout a nine-game winning streak that came to a halt on Saturday evening, manager Robin Ventura has given a handful of his regulars a day off for the first time in a while as the Chicago White Sox look to get back to their winning ways on Sunday against the Seattle Mariners. They seem to have a good shot with lefty Chris Sale on the mound, as the first-year starter is coming off a 15-strikeout performance in his last start. Sale's already had some success against Seattle with an 11-strikeout performance against the Mariners on April 20. Here's the Sox's lineup:

1. Brent Lillibridge -- CF

2. Gordon Beckham -- 2B

3. Adam Dunn -- 1B

4. Dayan Viciedo -- DH

5. Alex Rios -- RF

6. Kosuke Fukudome ---LF

7. Alexei Ramirez -- SS

8. Tyler Flowers -- C

9. Eduardo Escobar -- 3B
