White Sox release broadcast schedule

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Chicago White Sox announced their broadcast schedule for the upcoming season with the April 1 opener against the Kansas City Royals to air on Comcast SportsNet.

Comcast will carry a total of 99 games, followed by 30 games on WGN-TV and 25 on WCIU-TV. The White Sox are also slated to have seven telecasts on FOX, with the first one taking place April 20 against the Minnesota Twins.

The White Sox will also appear on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball for a May 12 game against the Los Angeles Angels. Additional national games could be added at a later date.

On the radio, all White Sox games can be heard in English at WSCR-AM 670, and in Spanish for the second consecutive year at 97.5 FM ESPN Deportes.

Previously released was the spring training broadcast schedule. Six games will be televised from Arizona, starting with the March 15 contest against the Cubs on WGN. Five other games will all air on Comcast SportsNet (March 22 vs. OAK, March 23 vs. LAD, March 24 vs. KC, March 25 vs. TEX and March 27 vs. CLE).
