Viciedo (hamstring) eyes weekend return

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Chicago White Sox outfielder Dayan Viciedo said Wednesday he hopes to be back in the lineup over the weekend after straining his right hamstring the day before in a game against the Cincinnati Reds.

Viciedo suffred the injury legging out a triple.

"It hurt a little bit after I hit the triple," Viciedo said through a team translator. "I went and got treatment yesterday and today and feel much better."

The Sox have been without two-thirds of their outfield since the WBC began in early March. Alex Rios and Alejandro De Aza will return to spring training on Thursday.
