Chicago White Sox starter Chris Sale picked up the win in his second career All-Star appearance on Tuesday.

Sale pitched the second and third innings at Citi Field in New York and didn't allow a baserunner. He struck out two and threw 24 pitches, 17 for strikes. Sale's strikeouts came against a pair of Colorado Rockies -- Carlos Gonzalez and Troy Tulowitzki.

Sox reliever Jesse Crain was also selected to American League squad, but a shoulder strain kept him from playing.
