Second period wrap: Canucks 1, Hawks 0

VANCOUVER -- The Chicago Blackhawks continue to trail the Vancouver Canucks 1-0 after two periods at Rogers Arena.

Vancouver got better as the second period went on. The Canucks outshot the Hawks 15-6, but thanks to Corey Crawford they didn’t manage a goal. Crawford was spectacular, especially late in the period when the Hawks were caught in their own zone for extended periods of time.

On offense, the Hawks are having a tough time getting traffic in front of Roberto Luongo who has also gotten better as the game has gone on. Patrick Kane is having a tough time finding the puck and holding onto it as Joel Quenneville has started to mix up his lines trying to find offense.

The Hawks have been outshot 23-18 for the game after outshooting Vancouver 12-8 in the first period.
