2nd-period wrap: Ducks 2, Blackhawks 1

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks trail the Anaheim Ducks 2-1 after two periods at the United Center on Tuesday night.

Anaheim scored early and late in the period to take the second-intermission lead. Ryan Getzlaf tallied on the power play to open the period and then later 41-year-old Teemu Selanne finished a scoring play after a Hawks turnover in their own zone.

On the latter goal, Patrick Kane fed Duncan Keith with a pass but it was quickly taken off Keith’s stick by Selanne, who later finished off the play.

Moments earlier, Kane had made a highlight-reel spin-o-rama pass to Marian Hossa in the slot and Hossa finished to tie the game.

The Hawks will begin the third period on the power play after a late tripping call on Patrick Maroon.
