DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Chicago Bulls forward Joakim Noah (hip) did not practice Friday while forward Luol Deng (Achilles) participated in most of practice, and both are questionable to play against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said Noah is feeling tightness in his hip, but he is unsure how and when Noah suffered the injury. Noah played 34 minutes in the Bulls' win over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. The Bulls did not practice Thursday.
"We'll see where he is [Saturday]," Thibodeau said. "He's not quite sure when he did it. He just felt some tightness. It was an opportunity to give him another day of rest."
Deng has missed the Bulls' last three games because of an Achilles injury. Thibodeau said he will also determine Deng's playing status Saturday.
"He shot [Thursday] and felt OK," Thibodeau said. "He did about three-quarters of practice today, and he said he felt decent. We'll see where he is [Saturday]."
