Rapid Reaction: Bulls 101, Pistons 96

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Let's take a quick look at how the Chicago Bulls pulled out a 101-96 win over the Detroit Pistons on Friday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

How it happened: Derrick Rose scored 25 points, Carlos Boozer added 22 and Luol Deng chipped in with 15 as the Bulls picked up their second win in a row. Tom Thibodeau's bunch did just enough to pull this game out in the end -- but it wasn't pretty. Thibodeau will have plenty of mistakes to correct during the team's next film session.

What it means: The Bulls survived and picked up a win. That's about all they can hope for at this point of the season. Boozer had another solid game and Rose made plays when he had to. The Bulls made plenty of mistakes on the night, but they did enough to earn a victory. As frustrated as Thibodeau will be about his team's performance at the end of the game, he will remember that they closed out a bad team in the end and moved forward.

Stat of the night: The Bulls had 28 assists on the night.

What's next: The Bulls are right back at it on Saturday night when they face off against the Toronto Raptors. They'll be looking for their third win in a row.
