Chicago-area high school basketball is loaded with talent, and the NCAA Tournament is always the best place to measure that.
From the top seeds to the bottom ones, this year’s tournament again will be well represented by the area’s past high school stars. It’s here you can see former Glenbrook North point guard Matt Shamis handling the ball for No. 16-seeded Lehigh in one game, and later watch another former Glenbrook North star Jon Scheyer doing so for No. 1-seeded Duke.
