Northwestern announced its non-conference men's basketball schedule on Wednesday.
The schedule is highlighted by a home game against Baylor, road contests at Creighton and Georgia Tech and an appearance in the Charleston Classic.
The Wildcats will host Texas Pan-American (Nov. 13), Stony Brook (Nov. 25), Mississippi Valley State (Dec. 2), Baylor (Dec. 4), Texas Southern (Dec. 15), Central Connecticut (Dec. 17) and Eastern Illinois (Dec. 18). Baylor went 18-13 last season and return sophomore forward Perry Jones, who is projected to be an NBA lottery pick next year.
Northwestern will travel to Georgia Tech for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Nov. 29 and to Creighton on Dec. 22. The Wildcats defeated both teams in Evanston last season.
Northwestern will play in the Charleston Classic beginning with LSU on Nov. 17 and will play three games in four days. The field also includes Georgia Tech, LSU, Saint Joseph's, Seton Hall, Tulsa, VCU and Western Kentucky.
